From January 20 to March 30 next year, three times a week
Korean Air announced on the 6th that it will resume flights on the Japan Oita route after five years. The operation period will be from January 20 to March 30 next year, with flights three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The departure flight leaves Incheon Airport at 1:50 PM and arrives at Oita Airport at 3:30 PM on the same day. The return flight departs locally at 4:30 PM and arrives at 6:35 PM on the same day.
An A321neo aircraft with 182 seats will be deployed on this route. It features various amenities such as Prestige seats that recline 180 degrees, Airspace interior, and in-flight Wi-Fi.
Oita is a volcanic city located east of Mount Aso in the Kyushu region of Japan. It is a well-known winter tourist destination famous for Beppu and Yufuin. Korean Air expects that the convenience for tourists who previously traveled by land from Fukuoka Airport to visit the hot springs in this area will improve.
