The three major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange all closed lower on Monday, the 4th (local time), as investors awaited this week's scheduled employment report and other employment data releases.
On this day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.11% lower than the previous session. The large-cap-focused S&P 500 index fell 0.54%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index declined 0.84%.
