On the 4th, President Yoon Suk-yeol said this while handing a bouquet to the spouse of the newly appointed Chief of Policy, Lee Gwan-seop, at the Yongsan Presidential Office during the ceremony to present appointment letters to the Chief of Policy and new Senior Secretaries.

Laughter broke out among the attendees at President Yoon's remark.
In addition to Chief Lee Gwan-seop, Han O-seop (Political Affairs), Hwang Sang-mu (Civil Society), Lee Do-woon (Public Relations), Park Chun-seop (Economy), Jang Sang-yoon (Social Affairs) Senior Secretaries, and In Seong-hwan, Deputy Director of the National Security Office, received appointment letters.
President Yoon unusually invited the spouses of the Chiefs and Senior Secretaries to the appointment ceremony that day. In the case of Park Chun-seop, Senior Secretary for Economy, his daughter received the bouquet.

While presenting the appointment letters, President Yoon also took commemorative photos individually with the Senior Secretaries and their spouses.
Also present at the ceremony were Kim Dae-gi, Chief of Staff to the President; Cho Tae-yong, Director of the National Security Office; Kim Tae-hyo, First Deputy Director of the National Security Office; Bok Du-gyu, Personnel Planning Officer; Lee Gi-jeong, Protocol Secretary; and Kim Su-gyeong, Spokesperson.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, President Yoon carried out a cabinet reshuffle by nominating Choi Sang-mok, Senior Secretary for Economy at the Presidential Office, as the candidate for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance; Kang Jeong-ae, former President of Sookmyung Women's University, as the candidate for Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs; Song Mi-ryeong, former Deputy Director of the Korea Rural Economic Institute, as the candidate for Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; Park Sang-woo, former President of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), as the candidate for Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; Kang Do-hyung, Director of the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology, as the candidate for Minister of Oceans and Fisheries; and Oh Young-joo, Second Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, as the candidate for Minister of SMEs and Startups.
