Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is holding a certification photo event capturing people enjoying winter at local attractions to celebrate the year-end.
On the 4th, Nam-gu announced, "We are conducting the Nam-gu Ro 溫(on) event to actively communicate with citizens who love Nam-gu through social network services (SNS) and to provide joy and memories to visitors exploring local attractions."
According to Nam-gu, this event will run until the 10th. Anyone who loves Nam-gu can participate.
To participate, add the KakaoTalk channel 'Gwangju Nam-gu Story,' visit one of the five recommended winter attractions designated by the district office, and upload a certification photo to the Google form.
The winter attractions recommended by the district office include the Yangnim-dong area where the Yangnim & Christmas Cultural Festival is held, Sajik Park Tower area known for its night view, Baegun Square Street Food Zone, Baegun Square Media Wall, and the Gwangju Municipal Arboretum, which opened this year in Yanggwang-dong.
Nam-gu will provide mobile gift certificates (10,000 KRW) to 50 people through a lottery, and the winners will be announced on December 18th on the official Nam-gu Office blog.
A Nam-gu official said, "We hope that people create beautiful memories at local winter attractions with their beloved family and partners and have time to wrap up the year."
