Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Council Strengthens Capacity Training in Preparation for Budget Review

The Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City recently conducted a 'Special Lecture to Strengthen Competence in Preparation for the 2024 Budget Review.'

The training took place at the government building during the 284th 2nd regular session and was organized to enhance the practical skills and expertise of council members ahead of the review of next year's budget proposal.

The lecture was delivered by Lee Sang-min, Senior Researcher at the Nara Salrim Research Institute, focusing on case-based education with topics such as ▲Understanding Our Local Budget Proposal ▲Explanation of the 2024 Budget Formation.

Chairman Kim Tae-wan stated, “Since this budget review is an important schedule that determines next year's district administration finances, I will do my best to fully apply the knowledge gained from the training to contribute to regional development and the welfare of district residents.”
