Benoti&RL starts wearable robot business... Hiring development personnel for domestic subsidiary

Benoti&AR (CEO Jeong Jib-hoon), a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 4th that it is recruiting robot developers for its wearable robot subsidiary, Human In Motion Robotics Asia. Human In Motion Robotics Asia is a corporation established to promote wearable robot business in Korea and the Asia-Pacific region. The recruited talent will be involved in the development of the flagship product 'Xomotion' and next-generation robots.

The positions Human In Motion Robotics Asia is recruiting for this time are ▲ Robot Application System Development (S/W) ▲ Robot Design and Development (H/W). Robot application system developers with a high understanding of robot hardware will be given priority in hiring. Candidates for the robot design and development field who can design with mass production quality in mind are preferred. The qualification requirement is a master's degree or higher with experience.

Recruitment is underway with the goal of hiring within the year, and detailed information such as the screening schedule and required documents is provided on the website and recruitment sites.

Benoti&AR established the joint venture (JV) Human In Motion Robotics Asia in Korea last September with Human In Motion Robotics. Human In Motion Robotics is a global wearable robot company headquartered in Canada. It was co-founded by Professor Siamak Arzanpour and Professor Park Jung-wook. They are professors and roboticists at Simon Fraser University in Canada. Professor Park Jung-wook also serves as co-CEO of Human In Motion Robotics Asia. Benoti&AR became the largest shareholder by investing in Human In Motion Robotics last May.

Xomotion is a wearable robot that implements the complex lower limb joints of the human body to assist the wearer's walking. Xomotion's 'self-balancing' technology detects the wearer's movements and allows the robot to balance itself. This means that individuals with lower body paralysis can walk independently wearing the robot without separate assistive devices such as sticks. It also features 'natural walking,' which naturally realizes the movements desired by the wearer by equipping intelligent software and 12 powerful actuators.

Human In Motion Robotics Asia is responsible for wearable robot development, sales in the Asia-Pacific region, and serving as a global production base. First, it plans to obtain approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for Xomotion's medical device manufacturing and quality management standards (GMP) next year and complete preparations for global production and supply.

Co-CEO of Human In Motion Robotics Asia, Cho Jun-young, said, “We are actively recruiting talent with expertise and vision in the robotics field to become a leading company in the global wearable robot market,” and added, “We will make the upcoming new year the first year of business growth.”
