Homeplus offers an online '1-hour instant delivery' service. Customers within a 2 to 2.5 km radius of over 250 Homeplus Express stores nationwide can receive their ordered products within about an hour through this quick commerce service. Customers who purchase over 30,000 KRW can also enjoy free delivery benefits.
On the 30th of last month, the 1-hour instant delivery application (app) was newly revamped. Based on customer shopping data, menus with high inflow rates were placed on the main screen to improve shopping speed. It also provides quick menus such as discount events, card discount notifications, popular promotions, recommended products, as well as personalized information including popular search terms, combined purchase benefits, store-specific order times, and recommended products frequently bought together.
Homeplus expects the 3-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of the 1-hour instant delivery service to exceed 80% based on the fiscal year 2023 (March 2023 to February 2024) closing results. This strong performance has driven overall online sales growth, with Homeplus Online surpassing 1 trillion KRW in sales within just three quarters this year, achieving the record of '1 trillion KRW in sales for three consecutive years.'
Lee Jung-won, Director of Homeplus Online Platform Division, said, "All directions of Homeplus Online are centered on the 'customer,'" adding, "We will continue to develop elements that enhance customer convenience to solidify our position as the 'most convenient Homeplus Online.'"
To celebrate this revamp, Homeplus Online is running a special promotion until the 10th, offering 1,000 '1-hour instant delivery' shopping cart discount coupons daily from 11 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
