Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungbuk Province Co-host
Early Registration from the 4th of This Month to February 16 Next Year
The Korea Health Industry Development Institute announced that 'BIO KOREA 2024,' co-hosted with Chungcheongbuk-do Province, will begin participant registration and recruit exhibiting companies starting from the 4th.

Marking its 19th edition next year, BIO KOREA 2024 is an event designed to showcase South Korea's biohealth industry to the world and provide a platform for business activation and technology exchange between domestic and international companies. At BIO KOREA 2023 held last May, over 780 companies from 51 countries participated, attracting more than 29,400 visitors. Additionally, around 1,300 business meetings were conducted.
This year's exhibition featured approximately 330 companies from 18 countries operating about 440 booths. The exhibition halls were organized by themes, including the Advanced Regenerative Medicine Hall, Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) Hall, and National Pavilions composed of outstanding overseas companies. According to the institute, this setup enabled continuous technological and business exchanges among participating companies.
Next year's event, BIO KOREA 2024, will be held for three days from May 8 to 10 at COEX Hall C in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The program will include exhibitions by domestic and international biohealth companies, business partnering, conferences, and an invest fair. Notably, a special Artificial Intelligence (AI) pavilion composed of digital healthcare companies will be operated, along with docent tours to enhance understanding of the exhibiting companies. The event will also increase interactive experiences and introduce unmanned poster exhibitions in rest areas.
Participants who complete registration by February 16, 2024, will receive a 30% discount on the registration fee. A 10% discount is available until April 30, 2024. On-site registration is also possible. Exhibiting companies applying by February 16, 2024, will receive a 10% discount on exhibition fees, and a 5% discount is available until April 5. Companies that participated in this year's exhibition will receive an additional 5% discount.
Companies wishing to participate and register for exhibition at BIO KOREA can apply through the BIO KOREA website. The website provides detailed information not only on the exhibition but also on newly introduced programs such as company presentations, business partnering, and the invest fair.
