The city added that this electric vehicle replacement was made using the reward money from the 'Local Price Stabilization Management Performance' in the first half of this year.
The free delivery service is conducted three times a day targeting five areas in Cheoin-gu: Jungang, Yeokbuk, Samga, Yurim, and Dongbu-dong.
Previously, Yongin Jungang Market has been providing free delivery service since March to enhance convenience for customers using the traditional market and to secure market competitiveness. Up to last month, a total of 1,600 free delivery cases were conducted, averaging about 10 deliveries per day.
Additionally, Yongin Jungang Market plans to join the ‘Shopping at Neighborhood Markets’ section on the portal site Naver by the end of this year.
Lee Soon-hwan, president of the Yongin Jungang Market Merchants Association, said, "We will seek various ways to improve the quality of services for consumers using 'Jungang Market,' Yongin City's representative traditional market."
