Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam was selected as a recognized institution for the ‘Community Contribution Recognition System’ organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.
The ‘Community Contribution Recognition System’ is a program that acknowledges the efforts of companies and institutions that have consistently engaged in community contribution activities through partnerships with non-profit organizations. It evaluates the promotion system and achievements in three areas: environment, social responsibility, and transparent management.
The corporation operates a community support network through the establishment of an ESG management system and received high evaluations for promoting specialized social contribution projects.
Notably, it continuously carries out activities such as joint labor-management rural work assistance, life-sharing blood donation events, kimchi sharing for love, support for sports experience programs for marginalized groups, and the Engineer Cheongsol Volunteer Corps activities.
In particular, it has taken the lead in fulfilling social responsibilities as a public institution through recovery support and fundraising activities for wildfire and flood damage that occurred beyond the local community, including in Donghae and Mungyeong.
Chairman Kim Jonghae stated, “We will continue to actively strive to fulfill our responsibilities to the community and share the value of giving through various social contribution activities.”
Meanwhile, the recognition plaque awarding ceremony was held on the afternoon of the 1st at the ‘12th Gyeongsangnam-do Sharing Festival’ at the Ribera Convention in Seongsan-gu.
