[Photo] Chairman Yoon Hong-geun Tours Special Exhibition of Independence Activist 'Kim Sang-ok Uisa'

On the 1st, at the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, key attendees including Yoon Hong-geun, Chairman of Genesis BBQ, toured the exhibition hall during the opening ceremony of the special exhibition "Kim Sang-ok, Awakening the Nation." Kim Sang-ok was an independence activist who led the anti-Japanese struggle; on January 12, 1923, he threw a bomb at the Jongno Police Station and died in battle at the age of 34 while fighting against 1,000 Japanese military police in downtown Seoul. The special exhibition features videos covering Kim Sang-ok’s independence movement and personal belongings preserved by his family. Chairman Yoon has been serving as the president of the Kim Sang-ok Memorial Association since 2021. Photo by Heo Young-han younghan@
