Goodoc "Expecting Revision of Non-Face-to-Face Medical System... Focusing on Creating a Safe Remote Platform Environment"

Goodoc, a subsidiary of CareLabs, a health and beauty care platform operator, announced on the 1st that it plans to focus on creating a safe remote medical platform environment in response to the announcement of the revised pilot project for non-face-to-face medical treatment.

Goodoc, which launched its non-face-to-face medical service for the first time in February last year, has since recorded a cumulative 1 million users of medical treatment and 7.6 million registered users, establishing itself as a leading digital healthcare platform in Korea.

Recently, as the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the medical community announced a revised pilot project that significantly relaxes the existing restrictions on non-face-to-face medical treatment, Goodoc also stated its commitment to fully ensuring a safe non-face-to-face medical environment in line with the institutional improvements.

The company plans to thoroughly review its current services through cooperation with affiliated medical institutions and continuously explore ways to enhance convenience for both healthcare service providers and users.

If the revised bill passes as scheduled, the scope of non-face-to-face medical treatment from the initial consultation is expected to expand even in medically underserved areas. Therefore, Goodoc intends to prioritize realizing its core value of "minimizing medical gaps" and focus on providing safe services.

Lee Min-kyung, Vice President of Goodoc, said, "Based on this revised bill, which mainly includes expanding the scope of initial consultations, easing re-examination criteria, and extending consultation hours, we hope it will serve as a turning point to enhance the effectiveness of non-face-to-face medical treatment, meet medical demand, and further revitalize the domestic digital healthcare industry. We also hope that through the implementation of policies actively utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as IT and platforms to improve public convenience, an advanced environment for the domestic healthcare industry can be established."
