Leading Growth Opportunities Through Vibrant Cultural Experiences
The School Out-of-School Youth Support Center in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 1st that it successfully held a cultural experience activity involving out-of-school youth and mentors at the Sinan-gun Family Center on the 28th of last month.
This event was conducted to provide various cultural experiences to out-of-school youth in Sinan-gun, enhancing creativity and expressiveness, and promoting healthy youth development. The program included making macarons, watching movies, followed by making mood lamps and shaker keyrings.

A student who participated in this event shared, “Through the collaborative cultural experience activities, opportunities for communication among out-of-school youth were created, and I gained stress relief and confidence that I can challenge anything.”
An official from the county stated, “These events will provide various cultural experiences for healthy growth, such as enhancing creativity and positive self-expression, to out-of-school youth who have limited access to cultural spaces due to the island region’s characteristics and personal circumstances. We expect these efforts to have a positive impact on local youth and help improve their confidence about the future.”
Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “Cultural experience events for out-of-school youth promote cooperation and communication within the local community and play an important role in supporting the development and growth of the younger generation,” adding, “Through such efforts, Sinan-gun is nurturing hope and potential for the future.”
