Seongdong-gu Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Event Held

From December 2 to 3, Seongdong-gu Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Event Held at Dokseodang Humanities Academy Center
Featuring Performances such as Vocal Music and Hula Dance, One-Day Classes, and an Exhibition of Over 100 Works for a Diverse Experiential Learning Venue

Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) will hold the ‘Seongdong-gu Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Event’ at the Dokseodang Humanities Academy Center on the 2nd and 3rd.

The district prepared the achievement sharing event to share the learning outcomes of lifelong education learners throughout the year and to provide residents with an opportunity to experience lifelong learning programs. The event will begin on the 2nd of this month at 1 PM with performances showcasing skills honed over time, including vocal music, hula dance, kalimba, mini plays, and janggu (traditional Korean drum).

Following the performances, popular neighborhood learning center one-day classes that were pre-registered will be held, including ▲Christmas wreath making ▲necklace making ▲glass cup crafts. In addition, various hands-on experiences such as making red bean hand warmers, Christmas sock bags, and ornaments will be available for on-site registration.

The exhibition of works will take place over two days, from December 2nd to 3rd, on the second floor of the Dokseodang Humanities Academy’s Chaekmaru. Visitors can see over 100 diverse works, including lifelong learning center learners’ ‘poetry creation & calligraphy collaboration’ pieces, excellent neighborhood learning center programs such as environmental fairy tale books, woodworking crafts, and urban sketch drawings.

This event will not only share the lifelong education achievements of the past year but also allow participants to experience various lifelong education programs in the forms of performances, hands-on activities, and exhibitions, making it a time for both children and adults to enjoy together.
