BNK Busan Bank Holds Volunteer Activity for Sharing Love Kimchi Making

On the 30th, 50 new trainees who passed the BNK Busan Bank's new employee recruitment process this year participated in the 'Love Kimchi Sharing Volunteer Activity' to share warmth with local neighbors.

The trainees who participated in this volunteer activity harvested 7,000 heads of napa cabbage themselves and made kimchi. The kimchi made that day will be sequentially delivered to local senior welfare centers through the Yeonje-gu Family Center.

The new trainees attending the event said, "As new trainees of Busan Bank, we had a meaningful time participating in volunteer activities for the first time," and "We will continue to participate in various volunteer activities and practice sharing in the local community."

Lee Chan-il, Head of Management Support Division at Busan Bank, said, "I believe morality and volunteer spirit are among the important virtues required for financial professionals," and added, "I hope that through this volunteer experience, new employees will take the lead in spreading positive influence in the local community."

BNK Busan Bank resumed volunteer activities, which had been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, by holding a local volunteer group launch ceremony in June and has been continuing practical social contribution activities needed by the community.
