On the 29th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, held the '2023 Uljin-gun Youth Hope Talk Concert' at the Uljin Yeonho Culture Center for about 430 youths in the area.
The '2023 Uljin-gun Youth Hope Talk Concert' was organized to comfort local high school seniors and middle school third graders who are exhausted from preparing for the CSAT and high school entrance exams, and to deliver messages of challenge and hope for the future.
At the talk concert, bestselling poet Ha Sang-wook, known for works such as 'Tube, I Decide Whether to Cheer Up or Not' and 'Seoul City,' was invited to give a special lecture on motivation through his story of how he thought he had run away from his talents but it turned into a challenge.
There was a joyful time with congratulatory performances by Pontifex and Nuldina, as well as talent shows by each school, and Uljin-gun Governor Son Byung-bok also had a brief Q&A session directly answering questions from the youths.
A youth who participated in the joint band performance that day said, "After the CSAT, it was fun to gather and practice with the band, and today's special lecture and recreation were very enjoyable."
Governor Son Byung-bok encouraged, "You have worked hard preparing for the CSAT and entrance exams, and you youths are the hope of Uljin," adding, "Standing at a turning point in life, I hope you make regret-free challenges in choosing your career path. Taking good care of your health, reading many books, and making a habit of writing a diary will help you achieve your dreams."
