Byu Technology will supply its 'digital asset issuance platform' to online game developer RetGames.
KOSDAQ-listed Byu Technology (CEO Jin-Yeop Lee) announced on the 30th that it will partner with global WEB3.0 platform company Bifin to provide RetGames (CEO Sung-Yoon Kim) with a digital asset issuance platform based on the blockchain solution ADC (All-in-one DLT Core).
Through this contract, Byu Technology will deliver the distributed ledger core optimized solution ADC to RetGames and supply a digital asset issuance platform that can be onboarded to RetGames' flagship title, Pomereum.
Additionally, when RetGames issues digital assets such as game items using Byu Technology's solution, Byu Technology will receive a certain percentage of fees, which is expected to contribute to increased sales and profits.
RetGames actively utilized 'Guardians,' a system that observes and verifies the conversion of game data to Web3 on-chain data, selling approximately 4,800 products in a short period and generating about 18 billion KRW in sales.
Furthermore, with the introduction of Byu Technology's blockchain solution ADC and digital asset issuance solution capable of ultra-fast data processing, RetGames is expected to establish a blockchain system usable within games.
A representative from Byu Technology stated, “This contract proves that ADC is the most competitive blockchain solution even in the gaming sector. The strengths of ADC, which processes blockchain data at speeds exceeding 10,000 TPS (transactions per second), have become prominent, and inquiries from companies interested in adopting it have increased dramatically compared to the previous quarter.”
They added, “RetGames will be able to detect and verify abnormal transactions of off-chain and on-chain (swap) game data through the Guardians system installed on users' PCs. A Web3-based business model is also possible, where users who perform verification are rewarded with PMG tokens.”
Meanwhile, Byu Technology announced plans to significantly expand the supply of its digital asset issuance platform targeting the gaming industry, starting with the supply contract with RetGames.
