At a press conference on the second day of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Brussels, Belgium, Secretary General Stoltenberg responded to related questions by saying, "Russia is increasingly dependent on weapons supplies from countries such as North Korea and Iran."

He also strongly condemned North Korea's military reconnaissance satellite launch on the 21st, emphasizing that "this is part of North Korea's nuclear and missile programs and a clear violation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions."
