This corporate briefing was held to strengthen promotion of the new national industrial complex and to raise corporate interest. On the day, LH, the project implementer, presented the national industrial complex promotion plan and promoted investment attractiveness such as support strategies for each local government and location advantages.

The companies that signed agreements with Gohung-gun that day included ‘Innospace,’ a startup in the launch vehicle field that succeeded in the first domestic private launch vehicle (Hanbit-TLV) test launch; ‘Unastella,’ which is developing manned launch vehicles aiming for suborbital space travel services; and ‘Sale Precision,’ specializing in precision parts such as defense and aerospace parts processing. These three companies are expected to create synergy effects through the clustering of related companies within the national industrial complex.

In particular, Gohung-gun requested, “Improving accessibility is essential to create a business-friendly environment. We ask the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for active support and interest so that the construction of the Gwangju-Gohung highway and the KTX railway between Beolgyo and Gohung can be promptly promoted.”

Additionally, the county emphasized its commitment to corporate support, stating, “We are preparing groundbreaking incentives for aerospace-related companies, which are the county’s specialized industries. We will spare no effort to provide full support for the development and profit increase of companies moving into the national industrial complex.”

A county official said, “Attracting companies is key to the successful promotion of the space launch vehicle national industrial complex. We are making every effort to secure corporate demand aiming to pass the preliminary feasibility study next year, and this year we are focusing administrative power on signing investment agreements with anchor companies.”

Meanwhile, the space launch vehicle national industrial complex will be established on a scale of 520,000 pyeong around the Naro Space Center in Bongrae-myeon, and LH, the current project implementer, is conducting a preliminary feasibility study.
