The 'Gaudi World Congress Seoul 2023,' held from November 23 to 24, concluded successfully.
[Photo by The Moon Labs at the official opening ceremony of Hosted by The Moon Labs (LM Foundation, CEO Seongok Moon), the 'Gaudi World Congress Seoul 2023' held its official opening ceremony on the 23rd at the Bit Theater in Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul. On the 24th, at Namsan K-Pop Tower, lectures and panel discussions were conducted under the theme 'Gaudi Method' featuring world-renowned Gaudi experts and leaders from the fields of culture, arts, and science. An after-party for networking was held in the evening.
For this event, numerous Gaudi experts and leaders in architecture, culture, arts, and technology from around the world visited Korea. Among them were Simoneta Gomez, who was in charge of Cartier branding for 25 years and is of Spanish royal descent; Maria Guell, granddaughter of the Guell family, Gaudi’s patrons; Christos Passas from Zaha Hadid Architects; Arnold Waltz, an architect currently joining the NEOM City project; Vera Futorjanski, a key leader at BMW headquarters in Germany, a Davos Forum speaker, and a female entrepreneur who led projects for the Dubai Prime Minister’s Office. In total, 20 global figures attended, and Jaume Collboni, the mayor of Barcelona, sent a video message congratulating the event.
On the 23rd, during the official opening ceremony, The Moon Labs and the Spanish Gaudi Knowledge Association signed a joint business agreement. On the 27th and 28th, both parties held working meetings to promote joint projects, discussing details such as architectural projects realizing Gaudi’s unfinished design plans, NFT-based tours, development of educational programs, creation of a metaverse centered on Gaudi’s architecture, nurturing Gaudi creators, and establishing a fund. Additionally, a special NFT exhibition utilizing Gaudi’s heritage is planned for April next year.

A representative from The Moon Labs stated, "'Gaudi World Congress Seoul 2023' was the first step in discussions to widely expand the legacy of the genius architect Gaudi into the future and globally. Even after the event, through close joint projects with the Gaudi Knowledge Association, we will showcase web3 global projects utilizing The Moon Labs’ blockchain technology and planning capabilities so that more people can share Gaudi’s great worldview.”
