On the 28th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters held the '2023 Second Half Sister Department and Social Contribution Officers Workshop' at the Deokgu Oncheon Hotel seminar room in Uljin.
Hanul Headquarters of KHNP held the second half of 2023 sister departments - social contribution officers workshop.
This event was organized for sister departments and social contribution officers to gather, share their achievements over the year, and to reward and encourage outstanding departments and employees in each field.
In addition to sister village and social contribution staff within the headquarters, representatives of local residents such as the President of the Uljin County Village Chiefs Association, the Chairpersons of the Buk-myeon, Jukbyeon-myeon, and Uljin-eup Village Chiefs Councils, and the Director of the Uljin Regional Self-Sufficiency Center attended to share opinions on Hanul Headquarters from the perspective of local residents.
On this day, the top-performing sister village department was the Radiation Safety Department of Shin Hanul Unit 1 Power Plant, the outstanding sister township departments were the Disaster Prevention Measures Department and the Public Relations Department, and the top social contribution department was the Construction Management Department of Shin Hanul Unit 2 Construction Office. The HUB Hanul Band was selected as the best volunteer club, and its president, Deputy Manager Dongwan Yoo of the ICT Department, was recognized as the top social contribution employee.
At the event, Eom Taebong, President of the Uljin County Village Chiefs Association, said, “We are grateful to Hanul Headquarters for their sister village activities and hope that Hanul Headquarters and the local community will continue to maintain a good relationship.”
Also, Hwang Cheonho, Director of the Uljin Regional Self-Sufficiency Center, who gave a lecture on social contribution, said, “Hanul Headquarters’ efforts to help neighbors in need in the region this year were impressive,” and added, “I deeply appreciate Hanul Headquarters for understanding and practicing the meaning of social contribution activities.”
In response, Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We will continue to spare no support to solve local issues,” and “I thank the officers who have worked hard for regional contribution activities over the past year.”
Starting from the first half of this year, Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters regularly holds sister department-social contribution officers workshops and plans to continue active communication with local residents in the future.
