From December this year to February next year
Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 29th that it will offer a special winter menu that warms both body and mind from December this year to February next year.
At Lotte Hotel Seoul’s ‘Mugunghwa,’ a variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients are prepared with diverse sauces and visually appealing garnishes. Representative dishes include clam salad made with king clam, pen shell scallops, and ark shell clams with mustard sauce, green citrus sauce, and radish juice, as well as chicken breast salad with pine nut juice sauce, featuring low-temperature aged chicken breast, fresh ginseng, pear, and paprika.
Winter delicacies also include grilled Jeju okdom (tilefish) served with risotto made from pumpkin, crab meat, and mushrooms, and herring roe jelly bibimbap topped with seasoned vegetables, herring roe, abalone, and seaweed flakes. The winter Mugunghwa set meal includes soy sauce marinated dried yellow corvina seasoned with master artisan Gisundo’s soy sauce and Mugunghwa’s special soy sauce, accompanied by stone pot rice and soybean paste stew, offering a rich umami flavor.
At the Chinese restaurant ‘Dorim,’ a special course meal beneficial for maintaining body temperature during the cold winter is offered. The lunch course consists of Paljintang, a nourishing soup made by simmering more than eight healthy ingredients including abalone, Korean beef, and scallops; steamed lobster with perilla seed tofu sauce; and Mongolian beef stir-fried with tender beef and vegetables in a soy sauce-based sauce.
The dinner course allows guests to choose between Paljintang or Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, one of China’s representative health-boosting dishes. It also features scallop tempura with basil-flavored corn and chickpea sauce, and Cantonese-style steamed prawns with a spicy garlic sauce. In addition to the course meals, a la carte dishes such as fresh oyster noodle soup, Dongpo pork rice bowl, and grilled dumpling Puju salad are also available.
At the Japanese restaurant ‘Momoyama,’ seasonal courses are prepared with clear soup made from maesaengi seaweed and oysters, five kinds of sashimi, lobster stew, beef croquettes, steamed dishes, and hot pot dishes. The Momoyama course includes steak and lobster stone pot rice.
