First Event in 4 Years Due to COVID-19 Aftermath, 23 Teams Representing Each Dong's Community Center Programs Take the Stage

Dobong-gu Community Center Program Presentation 'Successful'... Banghak 1-dong Gugak Qigong Gongsaeng Team Wins 'Grand Prize'

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held the 'Dobong-gu Community Center Program Presentation' on the 27th and 28th at Seoninbong Hall on the 2nd floor of Dobong-gu Office.


Held for the first time in four years, this presentation featured performances by 23 teams representing community center programs from each neighborhood, including singing classes, Gogo Janggu, guitar classes, line dance, belly dance, and Kukhak Qigong.


Over the two days, residents showcased the skills they had honed through the community center programs, and the audience enthusiastically cheered for the teams delivering passionate performances.


On the first day of the community center program presentation, Ssangmun 1-dong, Ssangmun 3-dong, Chang 1-dong, Chang 2-dong, Chang 3-dong, Chang 4-dong, and Chang 5-dong participated, with the grand prize awarded to the Ssangmun 1-dong Ppyongayo Singing Class team, who delivered perfect harmony to beautiful melodies.


On the second day, Ssangmun 2-dong, Ssangmun 4-dong, Banghak 1-dong, Banghak 2-dong, Banghak 3-dong, Dobong 1-dong, and Dobong 2-dong competed for the grand prize, which was won by the Banghak 1-dong Kukhak Qigong Gongsaeng team, who demonstrated perfect synchronization by combining healthy breathing methods with movements.


Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “The stages prepared by the community center program participants were truly on par with professional singers and dancers. I extend my gratitude and congratulations to all the participants who worked hard preparing for the performances,” adding, “We will continue to create many opportunities for local residents to communicate and grow together.”
