‘Christmas Tree Lighting’ at Harmony Square in front of Geumcheon-gu Office

Large Tree Lighting to Mark the End of the Year and Illuminate the Light of Hope for Community Harmony

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) lit up the large Christmas tree installed at Harmony Square in front of the district office on the 27th.

At the lighting ceremony, about 80 people, including Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, members of the Geumcheon-gu District Council, and residents, gathered to light the tree wishing for community harmony during Christmas and the year-end season.

The large tree, standing 8 meters tall, is expected to brightly illuminate Harmony Square in front of Geumcheon-gu Office until mid-January next year.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, “I hope the light of the Christmas tree becomes a beacon of hope for neighbors in need and all residents,” adding, “Geumcheon-gu will also do its best to carefully look after the socially vulnerable and create a warm society.”
