Their method was as follows. First, from January last year for about one year and seven months, they pre-arranged women. Then, using these women, they organized drinking gatherings disguised as instant meetings, invited acquaintances, and induced sexual relations. After the encounter, they threatened to report the sexual crime to the company and extorted money.

The victims were mostly in their 20s, and it is reported that they handed over amounts ranging from a few million won to tens of millions of won. The group divided various roles such as the lure to induce sexual relations, the woman who actually had sexual relations, and a person impersonating the woman's guardian to threaten the victim, showing meticulousness to avoid suspicion.

Mr. A's group targeted friends and seniors they knew personally. The number of victims reached 28, and the total amount of money involved was about 300 million won.

The police said that after three months of investigation, including financial account analysis, mobile phone forensics, and searches and seizures, they were able to identify all the victims.
