Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Attends Ceremony for Donating Rice and Kimchi to Support a Warm Winter

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the ‘2024 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Project’ Love Rice and Kimchi Delivery Ceremony held at the Mapo District Office plaza on the afternoon of the 27th.

The delivery ceremony was made possible by a donation from the Seo Seoul Nonghyup Main Branch (Chairman Jo Won-min), which provided 2,500 kg of rice (250 bags of 10 kg each) and 1,000 kg of kimchi (100 boxes of 10 kg each). The donated items will be distributed to 350 households in need, including elderly people living alone.

The Seo Seoul Nonghyup Main Branch has been donating rice, kimchi, and other items annually to low-income households in the Mapo District since 2010.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District said, “I would like to express my deep gratitude to Chairman Jo Won-min of the Seo Seoul Nonghyup Main Branch and all the officials who organized this event for their annual support to help our neighbors have a warm winter.” He added, “We will deliver these donations with warm hearts and sincerity to our neighbors enduring the cold winter.”
