Seongro Lee, Chairman of Handok Hightech, Donates 5 Million Won to Suseong Education Foundation

Lee Seong-ro, Chairman of Handok Hightech, donated 5 million KRW in scholarships to the Suseong Future Education Foundation to foster future talents and promote regional educational development.

Chairman Lee Seong-ro was the inaugural chairman of the Suseong Talent Development Scholarship Foundation, the predecessor of the Suseong Future Education Foundation, and currently serves as a director of the Suseong Future Education Foundation, dedicating himself to regional educational development and talent cultivation.

Since the scholarship foundation was established in 2013, Chairman Lee has continued to donate scholarships annually, with the total amount reaching 110 million KRW to date.

Chairman Lee Seong-ro stated, “I believe that youth are the solid assets of the future and the greatest driving force for regional development. I donated the scholarship with the hope that no student in our region would give up on their dreams due to financial difficulties.”

Kim Dae-kwon, Mayor of Suseong District and chairman of the Suseong Future Education Foundation, responded, “Thank you for being a warm support for students every year. The sincerity you have sent will be used valuably to nurture local talents.”
