Social enterprise 29Days Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Do-gyeom), which operates the female hygiene product sanitary pad brand ‘29Days,’ is launching a campaign linking walking and donations in collaboration with the walking-based healthcare app ValueWalk. The two companies are conducting the ‘Walk with Daughters, 29Days Challenge’ campaign, where sanitary pads are donated to vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots simply by walking. Participants can join the challenge by installing the ValueWalk app. From November 30 to December 28, for 29 days, participants must walk at least 3,000 steps daily for more than 10 days and post a supportive comment for the 29Days Challenge in the challenge talk.

Completing both challenge missions will automatically donate one sanitary pad. If you recommend the 29Days Challenge to one friend (a new member) and participate together by walking, an additional five sanitary pads will be donated. There is no limit on the number of times this can be done. After the challenge ends, both the recommending member and the friend will receive 1,000 points each.

The name ‘29Days’ originates from the average 29-day menstrual cycle of women. It carries the meaning of promoting a healthy menstrual culture and reducing women’s pain and burden. The company launched the ‘Lower Sanitary Pad Prices’ project and introduced half-price sanitary pads. It has been providing free sanitary pads at major universities in Korea and has been conducting donation activities in collaboration with external organizations. In particular, the 29Days website has established a system where one day’s worth of sanitary pads is automatically donated to vulnerable women each time a product is purchased. As of last year, the total cumulative donation amounted to 9,101 days, and by the end of October this year, 899 days had been donated. The donation goal for this year is 15,000 days.

The walking app ValueWalk combines walking and health, offering 10 points for walking 3,000 steps, 20 points for 6,000 steps, and 70 points for 10,000 steps, totaling 100 points. Each time points are earned, a random box opens, granting additional points. The app runs challenges for healthy habits; completing a general challenge earns health scores, while completing special challenges offers prizes. The AI health analysis report allows users to check their obesity age, heart age, liver age, pancreas age, and kidney age based on health checkup records.
