4 Popular Meal Kits Under 10,000 Won
Emart has expanded its private brand (PB) Peacock into affordable meal kit products.
On the 27th, Emart announced that it is expanding the range of Peacock meal kits priced under 10,000 won, which were previously focused on soups and stews, to include single-dish meals.
The currently available Peacock meal kits under 10,000 won include four types: 'Zucchini Pork Stew', 'Chili Pepper Stir-fry & Flower Buns', 'Bean Sprout Bulgogi', and 'Pork Kimchi Stew'.
Emart stated that these products have been performing well, with about 12,000 units sold within a month since their first release last month.
Additionally, they explained that they are developing a seafood tray jjajang meal kit to be offered at a price under 10,000 won.
Emart also mentioned that three Peacock cooking ingredients priced under 10,000 won (Doenjang Stew, Soft Tofu Stew, and Shabu-shabu) ranked 3rd to 5th in sales volume within the meal kit category this year.
An Emart representative said, "We will develop a variety of affordable meal kits that can be enjoyed with just 10,000 won to reduce the burden of rising prices."
