Seven Eleven launches ‘Jjolgit Tongtong Garaetteok Tteokbokki’ emphasizing cost-effectiveness

Convenience store 7-Eleven announced on the 26th that it has launched the ‘Seven Select Chewy and Plump Garaetteok Tteokbokki,’ emphasizing ultimate cost-effectiveness.

Amid ongoing lunchflation and increasing demand for meal replacements, the company plans to target this demand by offering the product at a price approximately 20% lower than existing products.

Seven Select Chewy and Plump Garaetteok Tteokbokki features bite-sized, chewy, plump rice cakes with a spicy and sweet gochujang sauce, recreating the nostalgic taste of tteokbokki enjoyed at snack bars in front of schools. With its generous portion size and cost-effective price, this product is ideal not only as a meal replacement but also as a snack for a wide range of age groups.

To celebrate the launch of Seven Select Chewy and Plump Garaetteok Tteokbokki, 7-Eleven will offer a free ‘shredded pizza cheese’ with the purchase of the product from the 1st to the 15th of next month.
