The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 24th that it will publicly recruit new employees for 2024.
The recruitment fields include general positions (planning and general affairs, fund management, credit guidance and management, business guidance, inspection and supervision) and IT positions.
For general positions, all candidates will be hired through a regional quota system to nurture field-oriented credit union experts who support local cooperatives. Regional affiliation is based on the location of the high school or university from which the candidate graduated (or is expected to graduate). Each selection process will be conducted separately by desired region, and duplicate applications for multiple regions are not allowed.
Applications will be accepted through the recruitment website from the 4th to the 18th of next month. Successful candidates in the document screening will be announced on the Credit Union website after 10 a.m. on January 10th.
Written exams will be held on January 13th and 14th. The common written subjects include aptitude tests, job competency tests, and job knowledge tests. Additionally, general positions will have an essay test, and IT positions will take an online coding test. Afterward, candidates will go through a first interview with the working-level staff and a second interview with executives. The final successful candidates will be announced on the website by the end of February.
Park Young-hyun, Head of Talent Development at the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, said, “Through this recruitment, the National Credit Union Federation of Korea plans to select talents who understand the values of credit unions as financial cooperatives prioritizing inclusion and coexistence, and who will lead future finance.”
