With about 100 partner companies attending, the seminar was organized to review rapidly changing environmental regulatory trends such as strengthened environmental regulations, increased demands for supply chain management, and the growing necessity to respond to renewable energy and resource circulation, enabling participants to explore response strategies.
A representative from a partner company attending the seminar said, "Due to the lack of specialized personnel and cost issues, it is very difficult to keep up with the rapidly changing internal and external environments and related regulations," adding, "It was very helpful to share necessary information through the seminar and discuss response measures together."
Park In-cheok, Executive Director of ESG Management Division at Lotte Chemical, said, "We consider it meaningful to continuously conduct customized seminars to strengthen partner companies' capabilities at a time when the importance of ESG management is spreading," and added, "We plan to support various programs to enhance the competitiveness of our partners."
