Mapo-gu to Host 2023 Social Economy Festival

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the opening ceremony of the '2023 Mapo District Social Economy Festival' held at the district office audiovisual room on the morning of the 23rd.

Hosted by Mapo District, this event was organized to inform residents about the value and role of the social economy and to promote the revitalization of the local economy.

The opening ceremony proceeded with congratulatory remarks by Mayor Park Gang-su and awards for meritorious contributors. Following this, participants performed activities to promote the development of the social economy.

The '2023 Mapo District Social Economy Festival,' which involved various social economy enterprises in the region, was held until 5 p.m. at the district office Hanmaeum Square and the main auditorium, featuring booths where residents could directly experience and purchase social economy products, as well as one-day classes.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District stated, "I hope the value of the social economy, created and shared together, spreads widely through today's event," and added, "Mapo District will actively support social enterprises so they can play an active role."
