Dong-A ST Holds the '1st Dong-A ST Supply Chain Partners Day'

Dong-A ST (Dong-A ST) announced on the 23rd that it held the '1st Dong-A ST Supply Chain Partners Day' with domestic partners at its headquarters in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul on the 22nd.

The Dong-A ST Partners Day was organized to strengthen the cooperative system to respond to the recently emerging issue of supply chain due diligence and to seek mutual growth through ESG management. About 20 partner companies attended the event.

Dong-A ST introduced the current status of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management and the latest trends in supply chain management, and shared the anti-corruption and grievance channel system for Dong-A ST partners, as well as cooperation and response directions for supply chain management. In particular, to support partners' climate change response related to supply chain due diligence, Dong-A ST introduced its practical cases such as building a greenhouse gas inventory, preparing environmental reports, and providing training on environmental management certification procedures.

Going forward, Dong-A ST plans to provide regular ESG management consulting support and ESG-related educational content including environment, human rights, and labor environment improvement to promote mutual growth with its partners. Dong-A ST established the Social Value Committee in 2020 to strive for sustainable growth and has received a comprehensive A grade for three consecutive years in the evaluation by the Korea ESG Standards Institute.
