Omni System is showing strong performance. As a large-scale ski resort is being built in NEOM City, which is about 44 times the size of Seoul in Saudi Arabia, Omni System's track record of entering the Saudi market and its subsidiary producing ski resort lighting have come into the spotlight.
As of 1:44 PM on the 23rd, Omni System is trading at 936 KRW, up 4.35% compared to the previous day.
According to foreign media, Saudi Arabia is constructing a ski resort in the mountainous area of NEOM City. NEOM City is a futuristic new city being built in the desert near the Red Sea in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, approximately 44 times the size of Seoul. The project cost for NEOM City is expected to reach about 640 trillion KRW.
The ski resort to be built in the tourist and leisure area of NEOM City called "Trojena" will have an estimated slope length of about 36 km. This area has an average temperature about 10℃ lower than other cities and drops below 0℃ in winter, creating an environment suitable for making snow.
Meanwhile, Omni System previously secured a contract to supply 35,000 smart meters ordered by the Saudi Arabian government. It also owns a subsidiary, Dongdo LMS, which sells LED landscape lighting for ski resorts, road lighting, and more.
