April 24-30 Shinsegae Department Store Centum City Branch, Cooperation Between City, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and Shinsegae Department Store
Busan City will hold a special sales exhibition for excellent small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) products for seven days from the 24th to the 30th on the B1 floor of Shinsegae Department Store Centum City Branch in connection with the '2023 Korea Sale Festa.'
Korea Sale Festa is a large-scale consumption promotion event known as the Korean version of Black Friday, a nationwide discount event involving companies, distributors, small business owners, traditional markets, the government, and local governments.
This special sales exhibition was prepared in collaboration with Busan City, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and Shinsegae Department Store to provide opportunities for promoting and opening sales channels for excellent Busan SMEs' products in connection with the nationwide discount event, 'Korea Sale Festa.'
Eighteen excellent SMEs (small business owners) from the Busan area will participate, showcasing unique and outstanding products in the 'Food,' 'Dessert,' 'Beauty,' and 'Living' sectors that consumers have not been able to find in large distribution networks.
Additionally, a special event for consumers who purchase products will be held, featuring a raffle with prizes composed of various products from small business owners in the Busan area.
Shin Chang-ho, Director of the Digital Economy Innovation Office of Busan City, said, “We hope this event will help restore consumer sentiment, which has been weakened by rising prices.” He added, “Our city will continue to do its best to support small and medium-sized business owners and revitalize the local economy by exploring various ways for local SMEs to grow together in cooperation with large distribution networks.”
