The winning project in the multi-family housing category, the landscaping of The H Xi Gaepo complex, features the concept of 'Sig-Nature Gallery,' designed to evoke the scenery of a sophisticated modern art museum within a nature-friendly urban space.
The rooftop landscaping applies an ecological area ratio of over 40%, creating ample green space, and includes works by world-renowned artists such as Anthony Browne, a British children’s book author, with 'Our Dad’s Playground,' and Professor Park Je-sung of Seoul National University with 'The Gate Tangent,' which received high praise.
The ‘Rabbit Playground’ at Hillstate Hong Eun Forest, which won the Encouragement Award in the playground design category, is the world’s first children’s play facility realized using 3D printing technology.
The dynamic form created by the irregular structure and the highly eye-catching colors achieve sculptural beauty, encouraging active engagement from users.
In particular, it passed all the stringent evaluation criteria set for children’s safety under the Special Act on Safety of Children’s Products, including materials and manufacturing methods of playground equipment, and received safety certification, highlighting its potential as a safe and sustainable product.
