‘SaesolTech’ participated in the Omniair Plugfest event and is reported to have achieved meaningful results. Under the government-wide initiative to support the overseas expansion of autonomous driving companies, SaesolTech is proactively entering the global stage with outstanding technological capabilities.
The autonomous driving connected car security company ‘SaesolTech’ announced that on the 8th, at the ‘Omniair Plugfest Taipei’ event held in Taipei, it successfully completed a demonstration of the IEEE1609.2.1 (new international standard specification) test equipment.
This year marks SaesolTech’s third participation in the ‘Omniair Plugfest,’ having taken part in all events held so far, including the May event in Florida and the September virtual event.
The global trend of ‘autonomous driving’ has recently gained momentum in Korea as well, driven by government-wide policy initiatives. In fact, last month, a ‘Global Networking Day’ was held to promote the technological capabilities of related domestic companies to overseas organizations, and SaesolTech has now reached the stage of successful demonstrations targeting overseas markets.
At the Taipei event, SaesolTech automated the IEEE1609.2.1 test using the industry-standard test interface TCI v3 (an essential element for testing the operational conformity of autonomous driving equipment) and showcased a self-developed dedicated SCMS (Security Credential Management Systems) for testing purposes.
