Former Democratic Party lawmaker Choi Kang-wook, who recently sparked controversy by using the expression "female dogs causing trouble" while harshly criticizing the Yoon Seok-yeol administration at a book concert, has been strongly criticized by former Democratic Party Emergency Committee Chair Park Ji-hyun, who said he "should face appropriate disciplinary action."

On the 21st, former Emergency Committee Chair Park said on her social media (SNS), "Not only with the 'ddal-ddal-i' remark but now even saying 'female dogs causing trouble,' it is time to let go of Choi Kang-wook, who was once a member of our party's National Assembly."

At a book concert hosted by lawmaker Min Hyung-bae on the 19th, former lawmaker Choi criticized the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, saying, "Even in George Orwell's Animal Farm, female animals rarely cause trouble like this." He claimed, "I did not intend to demean females," but could not avoid the controversy over derogatory remarks.

Former Emergency Committee Chair Park said, "(Choi) only causes harm and does not help our party in any way," adding, "Lawmakers Min Hyung-bae and Kim Yong-min, who shared the stage and laughed together, also bear great responsibility. He must bow his head and apologize to the public and face appropriate disciplinary measures."

She continued, "Our party already has sins committed. We must be even stricter regarding sexual crimes and sexist remarks," adding, "This is not just because the election is near. It is because standing with citizens who suffer from unfair perceptions is a value our party must uphold."

Meanwhile, former lawmaker Choi shared an article related to the general election on his SNS that afternoon without any particular apology for the "female dogs" slur controversy, along with the words, "This is democracy, you fool."
