MFDS to Hold Forum on Medical Device Commercialization Support on the 23rd

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) announced on the 21st that, together with the Pan-Government Full-Cycle Medical Device Research and Development Project Group, it will hold the "2023 Pan-Government Medical Device Commercialization Support Governance Integrated Forum" on the 23rd at the Seoul Dragon City Convention Center to provide a meeting place for researchers and partner organizations and to guide medical device commercialization strategies.

At this integrated forum, guidance will be provided on commercialization strategies utilizing medical device regulatory science milestones, and cases and achievements of commercialization support by medical device fields will be shared. In addition, customized consultations between researchers and partner organizations will be offered.

An MFDS official emphasized, "We will continue to do our best to support based on regulatory science expertise to reduce trial and error that may occur during domestic medical device research and development and to help develop products quickly."
