Pukyong National University Signs Consecutive Agreements with Research Institutes, Academic Societies, and Overseas Universities

The BK21 MADEC Marine Engineering Education and Research Group at Pukyong National University is entering into cooperation for the convergent development of marine and design fields by consecutively signing agreements with the Korean Society of Marine Design, Busan Technopark Policy Planning Group, and Shandong Women's University in China.


On the 10th, the MADEC research group at Pukyong National University signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding with the Korean Society of Marine Design and the Busan Technopark Policy Planning Group at Engineering Building 1 to strengthen academic and cultural exchanges in the global marine industry and design engineering fields.


Attending the signing ceremony were Wang Jepil, Dean of the College of Engineering at Pukyong National University, Lee Jeonghee, Industry-Academia Cooperation Professor of the MADEC research group, Research Professor Park Seonghwan, Kim Jinhui, Manager of the Busan Technopark Policy Planning Group, and Researcher Seol Yujeong. They agreed to mutually cooperate in activities such as discovering outstanding talent in the marine ICT industry design field.

Earlier, on the 7th, the MADEC research group signed an academic exchange and cooperation agreement with Shandong Women's University at Hyangpahwan Hall to collaborate on academic exchanges in marine design, international joint research, and hosting international exhibitions.


The MADEC research group operates the Ministry of Education's BK21 project, fostering master's and doctoral level professionals who integrate marine industry and design, expanding cooperation with companies and research institutions, and striving to disseminate research achievements.
