Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) held the ‘K-Beauty Department Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration ICC Technology Seminar’ on the 17th at the Yakson Myungga Hall in the IT Building.
The seminar was attended by 14 organizations, including 10 district Career Education Support Centers of Busan, the Busan Women’s Association Council, Sasang-gu Small Business Federation, the Korea Skin Beauty Association Central Committee, and the Korea Lead Pilates Association.
Additionally, 20 technical instructors from companies such as Yakson Myungga, Dalia Spa, Yeorini Diet, and The First Dermatology, which conduct customized education with the K-Beauty Department’s Medical Beauty Care major, participated in the technology seminar program.
The event proceeded with a special lecture on the vision of the medical beauty industry and beauty health industry, an industry lecture on customer-tailored diet device management, and a seminar on program development necessary for the growth of the beauty health industry.

Kim Dae-sik, President of Gyeongnam Information University, said, “This event was prepared for the development of Busan’s beauty health industry and the cultivation of outstanding talent in the era of super-aging,” adding, “We will nurture practical talents who lead the beauty health industry through the establishment of a mutual cooperation system among industry, research, and academia.”
Gyeongnam Information University, along with the K-Beauty Department, has newly established the Beauty Health Department to train beauty health management experts and is recruiting freshmen for the 2024 academic year.
