On the 19th (local time), major foreign media reported that tumbler manufacturer Stanley recently announced it would gift a new car to Daniel, who lost her car in a fire. Daniel gained attention after posting a video on her TikTok account showing that although her car was completely destroyed by fire, the Stanley tumbler inside was the only item left intact.

In the video, the car body was severely burned, but the tumbler placed next to the driver's seat appeared undamaged. Daniel said, "I'm thirsty from the fire," adding, "If I have a Stanley tumbler, it seems like there’s no problem."

She continued, "The car caught fire yesterday, but there is still ice left," shaking the ice inside the tumbler to prove it. The sound of ice clinking inside the tumbler as it was shaken amazed viewers.

The video attracted great interest, surpassing 60 million views.

After seeing the video, Terence Reilly, Stanley’s global CEO, expressed his intention to gift Daniel a new car along with a new tumbler of the same model.

CEO Reilly said, "We have never done anything like this before, and probably never will again, but we want to replace your vehicle."

He also expressed gratitude to Daniel for demonstrating the durability of Stanley’s products, saying, "There seems to be no better example to show Stanley’s quality."

Daniel responded via TikTok, "I almost fainted when I saw the video from Stanley’s CEO," adding, "I’m really thankful and feel incredibly blessed." She said she would keep the tumbler as a souvenir.

This is not the first time a story about a Stanley tumbler surviving a fire has been shared.

In August, a woman named Lauren posted a video on TikTok showing her car on fire and revealed a Stanley cup almost undamaged among the wreckage.

Meanwhile, Stanley was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Seattle. The company produces durable products for hikers and campers. Its tumblers have become especially popular among young women. Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo recently stated in an interview, "I don’t leave home without Stanley."
