Integration Between VD Company Serving Robot and
Newbility Delivery Robot
VD Company is partnering with Newbility, an autonomous robot service company, to develop indoor and outdoor autonomous robot functions. Based on the robotics expertise accumulated by both companies, they plan to collaborate to strengthen competitiveness in the autonomous robot business and expand the domestic robot market.
VD Company and Newbility announced on the 20th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in the autonomous robot business. Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to jointly develop and commercialize the integration between VD Company's serving robots and order/payment solutions and Newbility's delivery robots, platform integration, and autonomous driving-related technologies and resources.
Additionally, VD Company will share its know-how in supplying the most optimized serving robots and order/payment solutions for domestic dining establishments. Through collaboration with VD Company, Newbility aims to expand its robot service business. They also plan to jointly participate in government-supported demonstration projects.

Han Pansik, CEO of VD Company, said, "Through this collaboration with Newbility, we expect VD Company's serving robots and integrated solutions for the dining industry to secure more advanced technological competitiveness," adding, "Based on this collaboration, we will contribute to revitalizing the service robot industry in South Korea."
Lee Sangmin, CEO of Newbility, stated, "Newbility and VD Company plan to comprehensively cooperate to build an ecosystem in the service robot market by combining their differentiated competitive strengths in each field," and added, "Through this collaboration, the two companies will work together to pursue various high value-added new businesses."
