The Nation's Largest Traditional Liquor Event, 'Daehanminguk Woorisul Grand Festival,' Opens from the 24th

From the 24th to the 26th, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation announced that the largest traditional liquor event in Korea, the "Korea Our Liquor Grand Festival," will be held. Now in its 13th year, the event features a variety of activities including nuruk (fermentation starter) making, Makgeolli brewing, and stand-up comedy.


This event aims to revitalize the traditional liquor industry and attract consumer interest by offering various hands-on experiences and providing consumers with information about breweries to raise awareness of traditional liquors.


There are also various experiential activities designed for the MZ generation. These include making chilling bags, Our Liquor MBTI, and private tasting sessions, allowing participants to enjoy a more engaging experience.


Additionally, at the "Our Liquor Vendor Hall," consumers have the opportunity to taste and purchase their preferred liquors.


The highlight of the event, the "2023 Korea Our Liquor Evaluation Awards Ceremony," will select 15 products as the best liquors of the year in different categories. The Presidential Award-winning product, "Crater Medium Dry" from Sudosan Winery, shines, and excellent products from each category will be introduced to consumers.


The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation expressed their hope that this event will continuously provide consumers with new information about our liquors and serve as an opportunity to further expand the traditional liquor industry.
