On the 19th (local time), she shot a 6-under-par 66 in the 4th round of the CME Group Tour Championship (total prize money $7 million) at Tiburon Golf Club Gold Course (par 72, 6,556 yards) in Naples, Florida, USA, including an eagle on the 13th hole (par 4), finishing with a 3-stroke victory (27-under-par 261). This marks her fifth career win and her first since the Honda LPGA Thailand in February 2019, ending a 4 year and 9 month drought. The winner's prize money was $2 million (approximately 2.6 billion KRW). Yang Hee-young recorded her first victory on the U.S. mainland. South Korea achieved a total of five wins in the 2023 season.
