Essay 'Oneuredo Naaganeun Jungimnida' eBook Published
Ranked Online No.1 After September Release, Surpassing Cho Guk's Book
Cho Min, the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, announced that her essay collection "I Am Moving Forward Today as Well" has been published as an eBook.
On the 17th, Cho posted this news along with a cover photo of "I Am Moving Forward Today as Well" on her social network service (SNS).
Published last September, "I Am Moving Forward Today as Well" is a book in which Cho shares stories about the various controversies surrounding her. She described the book as "the first courageous step I took to live as Cho Min herself."
In particular, regarding her grade point average in the medical school at Pusan National University, where she received grades in the 1-point range, she explained, "In the medical school, even if your average grade is good, if you receive an F in one subject, you are held back. In the second semester of 2018, when I was in my final year, I received an F in one subject and was held back for the second time," adding, "At that time, my GPA was 3.41/4.0, which corresponds to 'honors'."
She continued, "If you have even one F, you have to retake the entire semester, so as soon as the F in one subject was confirmed, I did not take the remaining exams," and added, "That is why the GPA in the 1-point range, which circulates on the internet, came about."
"I Am Moving Forward Today as Well" ranked high in sales immediately after publication, reaching 5th place on the bestseller list in its first week, thanks to the purchasing power of supporters of former Minister Cho Kuk. Later, it surpassed Cho Kuk’s book "Tears of Dike," which was ranked 3rd, to become the number one online bestseller, making both father and daughter best-selling authors side by side. In response, Cho Min said on her YouTube channel, "I am sorry, Father."
Meanwhile, "Tears of Dike" has currently surpassed its 20th printing. In this book, former Minister Cho Kuk stated, "I believe that in the near future, sovereign citizens will clearly realize that 'rule of law' is not 'rule by prosecution,'" and added, "Ultimately, I believe the time will come for 'the rule of law,' not 'rule by law for domination.'"
