Honam University announced on the 17th that Son Wani, Director of the International Exchange Office, and Jin Chunhwa, Head of the Exchange Cooperation Office, visited higher education institutions in the Zhaozhou area of Shandong Province, China, including Zhaozhou Vocational and Technical College, Zhaozhou University, and Zhaozhou Economic School on November 15th and 16th to expand global exchanges and recruit international students.
On the morning of the 15th, Director Son Wani and his delegation visited Zhaozhou Vocational and Technical College (Zhaozhou Keji Zhiye Xueyuan), where they met with Vice President Zhang Dongrui and other school officials to review the details of the exchange agreement signed last June and agreed to seek more practical and effective exchange methods.
Zhaozhou Vocational and Technical College is a three-year public general higher vocational college located in Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. It offers 55 majors, including Electrical Automation Technology, Computer Application Technology, and Architectural Engineering Technology, with approximately 20,000 students currently enrolled.
In the afternoon of the 15th, they visited Zhaozhou University (Zhaozhou Daxue) and held discussions with Director of Exchange Cooperation Chu Fumin and Dean of the International College Yin Hongtao regarding various exchange programs such as student exchange programs, undergraduate-to-master’s linked programs, and short-term training.
Zhaozhou University is a four-year public university located in Zhaozhou City, Shandong Province. It offers 68 majors, including Optical Engineering, Industrial Economics, and Fine Arts, with about 20,000 students currently enrolled.
On the 16th, they visited Zhaozhou Economic School (Zhaozhou Jingji Xuexiao) and discussed high school to undergraduate linked programs with President Song Gang and Admissions Office Director Sun Yanbin.
Zhaozhou Economic School is located in Zhaozhou City, Shandong Province. It offers 14 majors, including Tourism Service Management, Logistics Service Management, and Automotive Application Maintenance, with approximately 4,700 students currently enrolled.
