Acquisition of Lee Jeonghwan, Former CEO of Autoplus, Expert in Enhancing Corporate Value
Delivery app Yogiyo announced on the 17th that it held a board meeting and appointed former Autoplus CEO Lee Jeong-hwan as the new CEO. The new CEO is regarded as an expert in enhancing corporate value, possessing core business skills and extensive experience across overall management, including business strategy formulation, operations, and finance.
CEO Lee graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and has worked in various consulting roles at Samil Accounting Corporation, global consulting firms PwC and Deloitte. He served as CFO of Daewoo Information Systems Management Support Office and CFO/CTO of Summers Platform (formerly Enuri.com). He successfully led investments by establishing new infrastructure improvements and marketing strategies, including revamping the outdated site and BI (brand identity).
Until recently, he served as CEO of the used car specialized platform Autoplus. CEO Lee plans to raise Yogiyo’s corporate value and focus all efforts on new marketing activities, presenting a new business vision. The new CEO stated, "In a market with high volatility after the endemic, I will exert my utmost capabilities to make Yogiyo the platform that provides the best service," adding, "I will fulfill the role of a leader who contemplates and presents the direction and process of Yogiyo’s great challenge."
He further added, "I will do my best to build a sustainable foundation that allows growth in coexistence with customers, partner stores, and riders through differentiated competitiveness in the delivery platform market and to enhance corporate value."
