Let's Prepare College Admission Strategies and Interviews with Dongjak-gu After the CSAT Ends

Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 17th that it plans to hold customized interview consulting sessions for each admission type and university admission briefings for the regular admission track to help 2024 college entrance exam candidates establish successful admission strategies.

First, on the 17th and 18th, immediately after the CSAT, 50 students preparing for university early admission will be recruited to receive free "2024 College Early Admission Mock Interview Consulting."

The mock interviews will be conducted by interviewers who are public admission officers from major universities, interviewing groups of three students at a time. Each session is planned to last 90 minutes.

Additionally, on December 9th, a "2024 Regular Admission University Briefing" will be held in the large auditorium on the 5th floor of the district office. Admission expert Lee Man-gi, director of Uway Education Evaluation Research Institute, will present a comprehensive evaluation of the 2024 CSAT and strategies for applying to regular admission tracks.

From the 16th until December 8th, 300 participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis. Students and parents in the area who wish to attend can apply through the Dongjak-gu website. On-site attendance on the day of the briefing is also possible.

Furthermore, on December 23rd, a free one-on-one customized admission consulting session for the regular admission track will be held in the large auditorium on the 5th floor of the district office. Fifteen active teachers from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s University Admission Guidance Support Team will serve as counselors, providing 40-minute personalized consultations per person.

Applications for participation will be accepted from the 21st until December 16th through the Dongjak-gu Office website, recruiting 135 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Any parents or students in the area can participate.

Park Il-ha, Mayor of Dongjak-gu, said, “Even after the CSAT, the district will actively support local students by holding mock interviews, admission strategy briefings, and customized admission consulting.” He added, “We will operate the Dongjak Admission Support Center effectively to provide various programs that meet the needs of both students and parents.”
